Training

GSDOC obedience and agility training classes are designed to help owners learn how to train their dogs, assist in socializing dogs and prepare interested dogs and owners for formal obedience and agility competion. Trainers and dogs progress through a structured curriculum of classes open to the public and Club members taught by Club volunteers. A limited number of training collars and leads are available from the Club.

Registration:
Registration takes place on the first night of each class session at the Fairgrounds. (You may register on-line HERE, but you must still attend the first class session.) Please LEAVE YOUR DOG AT HOME FOR THE FIRST CLASS SESSION of Puppy Manners and Basic Obedience Class and bring your payment and your dog's immunization record with you.
Upcoming Courses:

The next session of courses will begin on 07/29/2008 and end on 09/23/2008. We expect to offer the following classes:

Basic Obedience II Class   6:00 PM
Rally   7:00 PM

When & Where:
Classes are normally 8 weeks long (sometimes a bit longer to accommodate the holidays) and run for 1 hour on Tuesday evenings at 7 p.m. at the Golden Spike Events Center at the Weber County Fairgrounds, 1000 N. 1200 W. Ogden, Utah Phone: 801-399-8798.

In warm weather, training takes place in the Courtyard to the South of the Fairground's Exhibit Hall. During the Winter, we train indoors in the Exhibit Hall.
