How can I become a Member of The Golden Spike Dog Obedience Club?

The success of The Golden Spike Dog Obedience Club is dependend on its dedicated members who donate their time and skills by serving on the board, teaching our training classes and serving in a variety of other volunteer position like librarian, newsletter editor, hospitality chair and many others.

If you are interested in belonging to a group of dog loving people and if you are willing to support our activities then here is how you can become a member.
The process of becoming a member in GSDOC is outlined in our club's bylaws which are linked from the "About Us" page.

1) Register for one of our public training classes at the full price.
2) Attend a General Meeting of our club and obtain a membership application from our membership chair.
3) Fill out the application and return it with the required membership fee to the membership chair.
4) Attend a second General Meeting to be voted in as a club member.

Benefits of Membership are:

Access to a library of dog training books and DVD's.
Access to the membership section of this website.

Participation in all training classes at the member price.
