The Golden Spike Dog Obedience Club (GSDOC) is located in Northern Utah. GSDOC provides members guidance for raising and training puppies and adult dogs. We provide instruction in basic and advanced Obedience, Agility, Rally and Canine Good Citizen certification to club members and members of the general public. We train on Tuesday nights at the Golden Spike Fairgrounds.

The club holds an AKC Sanctioned Obedience Trial every March and two AKC Sanctioned Agility Trials; one in January and one in July.

New class registration sign-ups for classes starting January 6, 2015 is now full. Our next session will start early March.

The club's General Meeting is usually held the second Tuesday of the month, at 6:00 pm. After a brief business meeting the club features programs dealing with dog related topics.

Our next general meeting will be Tuesday, February 10th at 6:00 PM at the Golden Spike Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall. The program will provide information on Barn Hunt which is based on the traditional task of rat catchers who traveled along the countryside ridding homes, barns and grounds of vermin. Barn Hunt is above ground and involves an obstacle course made of straw/hay bales. It is open to any breed or mix breed and any size dog. We invite all members and their family as well as the general public to attend this meeting. You are welcome and encouraged to bring your leashed dogs!
